Tong’s Tiki Hut

Food was great.Started with the Bo-Bo Tray. The host was nice and prompt. We were a bit ignored at the start of our night from the waitresses, but the gentleman that was there, approached us and welcomed us with tea after a while. They could use more staff. Overall the food was great. The fried rice and the rest of the food was prompt and fresh. The menu did have sushi, but it wasnt available. The food really made up for the mediocre service. The atmosphere music was very relaxing for a saturday night and the decor was what you expect.

We happened on to this place via Google Maps. What a find! It is in a strip mall, but once inside, it does not feel like a strip mall store front. It is cozy and Tikki. This is a nice sit-down Chinese restaurant with a cute and well executed decor. We always start with the Bo-Bo platter (I have seen other places refer to this type of combination appetizer as a Pu pu platter). The one had a cast-iron hibachi grill in the center to grill the meat. We had the Mongolian Beef, curry beef, and pepper steak with tomato. We all had plenty to take home.
